Who I am

You must have long-range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short-range failures. It is better to light a small candle than to curse the darkness. Some people walk in the rain. Others just get wet. Nothing determines who we will become so much as those things we choose to ignore. Believing is one thing, doing another. Many talk like the sea but their lives are stagnant marshes. Others raise their heads above the mountain tops, while their souls cling to the dark walls of caves A man may fall many times but he will not be a failure until he says someone pushed him. Better get a stiff neck from aiming too high than a hunch from aiming too low.

Nothing is so exhausting as indecision, and nothing is so futile. Do not be afraid to take big steps. You cannot cross a chasm in two small jumps. Energy and persistence conquer all things. The difference between doers and dreamers is that the latter wait for the mood before taking action while the former create the mood by acting. It is by what we ourselves have done, and not by what others have done for us, that we shall be remembered in after ages.
