About Marie

Marie began with Paradigm in 1994 and worked for the development team before joining the construction team.  Marie is responsible for contract administration and facilitates review and coordination of agreements between Paradigm and various owners as well as subcontractors.  She is also involved in the construction company’s risk management program and works to improve methodologies within the company and facilitate compliance with procedures.    Marie is active in her community and serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Architectural Review for the City of Fairfax.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in Historic Preservation from Mary Washington College and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from The Johns Hopkins University.

About Efrem

Efrem is responsible for the human resources department that supports Paradigm’s Construction, Property Management and Real Estate Development companies. He has 20 years of human resources experience and is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. Efrem graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree and from Loyola University with a Master of Jurisprudence degree.

With more than 25 years’ experience in multi-family construction, he ensures that Paradigm’s projects are delivered on schedule and with the degree of quality that the company’s clients expect.

About Hosein

Hosein oversees many project management functions for Paradigm Contractors, from schedule compliance to claims resolution and client relations. He mentors project managers and interacts with field operations to ensure that projects are managed in an efficient manner and goals are met. Hosein earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Oklahoma State University.

Keith E. Mai

About Keith

Keith works with owners and architects on the design and budgeting of projects under development with Paradigm Contractors. He also collaborates with the estimating team to prepare complete price proposals on final contract bid documents. Keith has more than 40 years of real estate experience, working on a wide variety of projects including multi-family high-rise, mid-rise and garden-style apartments and condominiums, office buildings, hotels and major renovation projects.

Keith holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

About Clarke

President of Paradigm Contractors, Clarke is responsible for all of Paradigm’s construction activities. He oversees the entire development and construction process for more than 8,000 multi-family housing units. Clarke is also a licensed class-A general contractor in Virginia. He has been with Paradigm since its inception in November of 1991 and was employed by Paradigm’s predecessor organization (National Development Corporation) as an executive vice president/project manager. Before that, he worked as a group lending officer at Maryland National Bank and in strategic planning at Emerson Electrical Company. Clarke received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Stanford University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh.
